Group Buy: Cadence 75 Keyboard Kit

International orders (outside Norway) will have 25% VAT deducted from the price at check-out. 
VAT and customs fees for international orders are not collected by us and will be settled upon arrival in the destination country.
For Norwegian orders:  25% VAT (mva) are included in the price.

What's included in the kit?

This is a group buy. What does that mean?

A group buy is a collaborative purchasing method in which individuals come together to purchase a product in bulk, with the goal of obtaining a lower price than they would pay individually. The group buy period starts June 15th and ends July 15th, 2025. In essence, this implies that if you wish to acquire Cadence 75, it is a matter of acting promptly or missing the opportunity entirely. After July 15th, the Cadence 75 will no longer be available for purchase.
 

Group buy terms

To participate in the group buy, you must place your order on this page before the deadline on July 15, 2025. After this date, orders will no longer be accepted.

 By placing an order, you acknowledge that:

• The group buy requires at least 20 units in total to proceed, with no limit per person.
   
• If the minimum quantity of 20 units is not reached by the end of the group buy on July 15th, the group buy will be cancelled and you will receive a full refund within 10 days after cancellation.
   
• If the minimum quantity is met or exceeded, production (and eventually shipping) will begin immediately after the group buy period ends.
  Once the group buy period has ended, all orders become final and binding. After this point, cancellations and refunds are no longer possible, as production will begin based on the total number of confirmed orders. (Cancellation/modification of your order before July 15th is of course allowed.)

Maximum quantity is set to 50 units in total.
Keep in mind that if the maximum quantity of 50 units is reached before July 15th, the group buy will close early, and further orders will not be accepted.

Shipping

The keyboard kit will be shipped from Norway. Shipping fees are calculated at check-out and paid up front. We ship to most countries in Europe, US/Canada, and some countries in Asia. If your country is not listed in the drop-down at checkout, please submit a request (via the contact-form or the chat), and we will make every effort to work it out.

Taxes and customs fees

Value-added tax (VAT) is included for orders placed within Norway. If ordering from outside Norway, Norwegian VAT (25% of the fee) is deducted from the price at check-out. Please note that VAT and customs fees for international orders are not collected by us and will be settled upon arrival in the destination country. We strongly encourage you to check which rules and regulations apply for importing goods into your country, including any applicable VAT/taxes and customs duties.
 

Quality control standards

We maintain strict quality control standards to ensure a high-quality product.
By placing an order, you agree to the following standards:

Non-Acceptable Defects (Eligible for refund) 
- Dents, cracks, or scratches >5mm that penetrate the surface treatment.  
- Defective or non-functional PCB or daughterboard.
- Other major defects that affect the keyboard's functionality.

Acceptable Variations (Not eligible for refund)
- Hanger marks on the interior of the case.
- Minor color variations in the surface treatment, visible only under strong light from certain angles.  
- Smaller imperfections on inner, 90degree-angled edges of the case.  


Production limitations & order adjustments

If certain colours or plate material options receive too few orders, production of those specific variations may not proceed. In such cases, affected customers will be given the option to either cancel their order for a full refund or modify their selection to an available color or plate material. This ensures an efficient manufacturing process while maintaining flexibility for customers.

Warranty and support

A one-year warranty is provided for the PCB and daughterboard, valid from the date the consignment is shipped to you.
Support, available through on-site chat, email, or Teams, is offered without any limitations and is entirely free of charge.

Bringing a new product to customers always involves a degree of risk, but we’ve worked hard to minimize uncertainties. Here’s an honest overview of potential challenges and how we plan to address them: 

Functionality and Quality 
We’re confident in the functionality and quality of the product. The prototypes are fully operational, with no flaws or missing features. Additionally, we have a trusted partnership with our manufacturers, based on prior collaborations that delivered excellent results. This gives us great confidence in the reliability and craftsmanship of the final product. 

Funding and Production Costs 
The biggest challenge is scaling production. While we have a functioning prototype and trusted manufacturers, we currently lack the capital to produce a large quantity at an affordable price per unit. A pre-order group buy is essential for reaching enough customers to make production more cost-effective. 

Timelines and Delivery 
We’ve developed a realistic timeline for production, shipping, and distribution based on past experience and thorough planning with our manufacturers. While we are confident these dates will be met, unforeseen circumstances such as supply chain disruptions or other extraordinary events could cause delays. Should such issues arise, we will communicate transparently and work diligently to minimize their impact. 

Scalability 
Meeting a higher-than-anticipated demand could introduce new logistical challenges, such as increased production time and longer shipping periods. Because of this, the number of available units are limited to 50. We are deeply committed to delivering a high-quality product and will approach any challenges with transparency and determination. Your support not only helps bring this project to life but also ensures it reaches its full potential.

Group buy progress updates

A website dedicated to timeline updates and other significant news will be launched following the conclusion of the group buy period. This site will feature weekly updates, photographs from the production process, and additional insights into the manufacturing and distribution procedures. Significant updates will additionally be conveyed through email.
