Let's be real, a cheaper keyboard is just as good for getting the job done. Cadence 75, however, is more than just a tool: it's an extension of you - a statement of your style and standards. Cadence 75 is for those who know the difference. Those who hear the subtle, feel the genuine.
On most high-end mechanical keyboards, decorative engravings and design elements are hidden on the backside—out of sight, pressed against the desk. We wanted to change that. Instead of only embellishing the backside, Cadence 75 features a visually striking accent trim on the front, adding a touch of refinement where it truly matters—right where you see and experience it every day.
Customize your experience further by choosing from a variety of colors and plate materials (available as add-ons). Do you prefer a deep-sounding keyboard? Try the polypropylene or polycarbonate plate. If you're after a more clacky sound signature, go with carbon fiber option. Or stick with the included FR4 plate for a balanced sound and feel.
The keyboard is CNC-machined from solid 6063 aluminium and brass, and assembled with visible screws. The weight and trim piece are PVD-coated and the case anodized, making them both aesthetically pleasing and durable. There are no batteries to charge, no unproven features to fail—just reliable, tried-and-true functionality designed to stand the test of time.
A 75% layout with ~83 keys in a symmetrical formation: no blocked keys, no "exploded" or offset keyclusters. Inculding an F-row with keys kept evenly distributed.
Both ISO and ANSI PCBs are hot-swappable, allowing you to easily install and swap switches without soldering.
Choose the traditional isolated top-mounting style or go with the gasket mount for a subdued sound profile as well as a slightly more flexible typing feel.
With support for QMK and VIA, you have full control over key mapping and macros. VIA offers a user-friendly interface for making real-time changes to your layout.
"Each keystroke a note, every typing session a melody"
The name Cadence draws inspiration from the world of music. In musical composition, a cadence serves two purposes: it marks the rhythm that drives a piece forward and provides a satisfying resolution at its conclusion.
The engraved audio waveform on the brass weight pays tribute to this concept. It visually symbolises the rhythmic cadence of typing and captures the keyboard’s dedication to achieving a refined sound profile.
Cadence 75 is designed by a drummer, bringing high standards for sound into every aspect of its design. Considerable effort have gone into selecting the right design solutions and materials to create the ideal acoustic environment.
Furthermore, the use of gaskets and optional foams ensures a more subdued acoustic experience by minimising unwanted noise. The keyboard's enclosure is 'force broken' with silicone pads at each screw hole. This configuration is intended to minimise the transfer of vibrations between the top and bottom cases, thereby reducing resonance.
Contrary to the prevailing trend of utilizing silicone sleeves or blocks for the gasket mounting, we have opted for Poron gaskets due to their superior acoustic properties compared to silicone.
However, the eight top mounting points are isolated with silicone pads. The purpose of having different materials for the two mounting styles is to enhance the unique characteristics of each style and to avoid them sounding and feeling too similar.
The plate foam is made of EVA, a material effective at absorbing midtone frequencies, enabling customization towards either a clacky or thocky sound profile. The top case gaskets, intended for the gasket mount configuration, can also be used with the top mounting style. This versatility provides even more options for fine-tuning the keyboard's sound signature.
The keyboard is designed for easy assembly and disassembly, making building and future modifications straightforward. Even beginners will find that building Cadence 75 is easy!
