Nostalgic soul in a modern finish

A design blending retro charm with a modern twist. Inspired by iconic keyboards of the past, it combines a nostalgic aesthetic with clean lines and curves that fit seamlessly into today’s workspaces.

More than just a tool

Some keyboards just get the job done. Cadence 75 is designed to be more than a tool. It's an extension of you - a statement of your style and your standards. Cadence is made to bring a sense of joy to your typing sessions and long working hours.

Craftsmanship you can feel

The moment you pick up Cadence 75, weighing in at 2.7 kg, you feel the weight of something real. Precision-milled metals, meticulously designed details. Every material is chosen for more than just function—it’s selected to provide a true sense of substance. Every screw, every curve, every surface is the result of careful engineering and thoughtful design.

Built to last

Some products quickly become obsolete. Cadence 75 is designed to stand the test of time – aesthetically, mechanically, and emotionally. The keyboard is CNC-machined from solid 6063 aluminum and brass, assembled with visible screws for a timeless look. There are no batteries to charge, no unproven features to fail—just reliable, tried-and-true functionality designed to stand the test of time.

A statement, front and center

Many high-end mechanical keyboards hide their decorative engravings and design elements on the backside—out of sight. We took a different approach with the Cadence 75. This keyboard features a visually striking accent trim on the front, adding a touch of refinement where it truly matters—right where you see and experience it every day.

Various colours and plate materials

Customize your experience further by choosing from a variety of colors and plate materials (available as add-ons). Do you prefer a deep-sounding keyboard? Try the copper or polycarbonate plate. If you're after a more clacky sound signature, go with carbon fiber option. Or stick with the included FR4 plate for a balanced sound and feel.

75% ISO or ANSI layout

A 75% layout with ~83 keys in a symmetrical formation: no blocked keys, no "exploded" or offset keyclusters. Inculding an F-row with keys kept evenly distributed.

 Hot-Swap

Both ISO and ANSI PCBs are hot-swappable, allowing you to easily swap out switches without soldering.

 Top Mount or Gasket Mount

Choose the traditional isolated top-mounting style or go with the gasket mount for a subdued sound profile as well as a slightly more flexible typing feel.

 QMK/VIA

With support for QMK and VIA, you have full control over key mapping and macros. VIA offers a user-friendly interface for making real-time changes to your layout.

The Cadence

"Each keystroke a note, every typing session a melody"

The name Cadence draws inspiration from the world of music. In musical composition, a cadence serves two purposes: it marks the rhythm that drives a piece forward and provides a satisfying resolution at its conclusion.

The engraved audio waveform on the weight (backpiece) pays tribute to this concept, visually representing the keyboard’s commitment to a refined sound profile.

Where typing becomes music

Cadence 75 is designed by a drummer, bringing high standards for sound into every aspect of its design. Considerable effort have gone into selecting the right design solutions and materials to create the ideal acoustic environment.

Tuning the experience

Cadence 75 comes with a raw FR4 plate. We deliberately left the lacquer off. Reason: the sound and feel of bare FR4 is simply delicious. Suitably soft, with a warm, slightly muted sound profile. If you haven't tried it before, it's time. If you're more interested in other plate materials, don't worry - other options will be available as add-ons.

Key features, such as the addition of a brass weight to increase overall mass and acoustic ribs in the bottom case, are introduced solely to enhance the keyboards sound signature.

Furthermore, the use of gaskets and dampening inserts ensures a refined acoustic experience, minimizing unwanted noise. The keyboard's enclosure is "force broken" with small rubber pads, intending to minimise the transfer of vibrations between the top and bottom case, thereby reducing resonance.

The eight top mounting points are isolated with rubber pads. The top case gaskets, originally designed for the gasket mount configuration, can also be used with the top mounting style. This versatility provides even more options for fine-tuning the keyboard's sound signature.

Easy assembly

The keyboard is designed for easy assembly and disassembly, making future modifications straightforward. Even beginners will find that building Cadence 75 is easy!

Built on legacy

Cadence evolves from the foundation laid by our previous project, the Drekiskip keyboard. We've retained the core qualities that made Drekiskip a success. However, we've also made significant enhancements to address areas we identified for improvement.
