Cadence 75 is a retro-inspired custom mechanical keyboard - crafted from premium quality materials.
Every aspect of its design is perfected to create the optimal acoustic environment, delivering a satisfying sound profile that can be fine-tuned through a range of customization options.
Cadence 75 is for those who know the difference. Those who hear the subtle, feel the genuine.
Edition Zero - the orgin series from 2025 is limited to 9 units in three different colors, each engraved with its own unique serial number.
On most high-end mechanical keyboards, decorative engravings and design elements are hidden on the backside — out of sight, pressed against the desk.
We wanted to change that. Instead of only embellishing the backside, Cadence 75 features a visually striking accent trim on the front, adding a touch of refinement where it truly matters — right where you see and experience it every day.
The name Cadence draws inspiration from the world of music. In musical composition, a cadence serves two purposes: it marks the rhythm that drives a piece forward, and provides a satisfying resolution at it's conclusion.
The engraved audio waveform on the brass weight pays tribute to this concept. It visually symbolises the rhythmic cadence of typing and captures the keyboard’s dedication to achieving a refined sound profile.
Adding a hefty brass weight increases the boards overall mass, thereby lowering it's natural frequency - contributing to a lower pitched sound signature.
Acoustic ribs - longitudinal grooves in the bottom case - shape the auditory experience by diffusing reflections. The ribs scatter sound waves, reducing echoes and standing waves for a more balanced sound across all keys.
The use of gaskets and optional foams ensures a pleasant acoustic experience by minimising unwanted resonance.
The housing is force broken with silicone pads. This configuration is intended to minimise the transfer of vibrations between top and bottom, thereby reducing resonance.
Contrary to the prevailing trend of utilizing silicone sleeves or blocks to mount the plate, Poron gaskets are chosen due to their superior acoustic properties. However, silicone pads are used to isolate the top mounting points. Having different materials for the two mounting styles will enhance the unique characteristics of each style - and avoid them sounding and feeling too similar.
The plate foam is made of EVA, a material known for it's effectiveness in absorbing midtone frequencies. With it's closed cell structure, EVA prevents the keyboard from sounding too foamy, a common issue with Poron plate foams.
The EVA top case gaskets, designed for the gasket mount configuration, can also be utilized with the top mounting style. This flexibility offers additional options for fine-tuning the keyboard's sound signature.
